Pinterest has always been my go-to source of inspiration. Whether I’m looking for motivation, a good laugh, or the perfect travel inspiration, it’s all there. With not many big trips planned, I’ve been reflecting on the travel quotes that helped me through the last couple years. Here are my top 10 favorite travel quotes!
1. “So much of who we are is where we have been”
I absolutely love this quote! It reminds me that travel shapes us. For me, Disney trips have shaped my passion for the brand, while my journeys to Puerto Rico and Mexico helped me learn and practice some Spanish. Even trips that weren’t Disney-related have left lasting memories and sparked growth in unique ways.
2. “Photos are a return ticket to a moment otherwise gone”
This quote hits home. I’m the one who takes photos and videos of EVERYTHING. My friends and family know I’ll always be the one holding a selfie stick or organizing group photos. It’s a habit I inherited from my family, who were essentially OG vloggers, with boxes of home movies on video tapes and shelves full of photo albums and scrapbooks. One of my current projects is digitizing these memories, which is a big task, but it’s so worth it!
3. “Work, Travel, Save, Repeat”
If there’s a phrase that describes my life, it’s this one!
4. “I need 6 months of vacation twice a year”
This quote is my go-to when I’m stressed, whether it’s work or just life in general. I dream of being a digital nomad and full time content creator (something I hope this blog can help me with), but until then, I’m counting down the days (or months, or years) until my next adventure!
5. “Do it now, sometimes ‘later’ becomes ‘never’”
This is a powerful reminder for me. It doesn’t just apply to travel, but to anything in our lives. I tell my friends this often, and I told myself this when I finally decided to start my blog after talking about it for months. Procrastination is real, but taking action is key!
6. “Normal Life: Wears the same top every day for a week
Packing for a 3-day vacation: I’ll probably change a few times a day so I’ll take 21 tops”
This one always makes me laugh. I’m guilty of overpacking, even though sharing a suitcase with my sister on family vacations has taught me to pack lighter. But let’s be real – I still fill my half to the brim!
7. “Travel, because money returns, time doesn’t”
This is the kind of deep, meaningful quote that reminds me why travel is so important. We have plenty of time to earn money, but time itself is limited. So, travel now – don’t wait for the “perfect” moment!
8. “Sunsets & palm trees”
Sometimes, simplicity is best. This quote is just about appreciating the beauty of nature, particularly the peaceful combination of sunsets and palm trees.
9. “I followed my heart and it led me to the airport”
This humorous quote speaks to my soul. I can totally imagine myself doing this – chasing adventure wherever it leads me!
10. “Travel is my therapy”
Finally, my personal favorite. Travel can truly be therapeutic, if you allow yourself to relax and not let stress get in the way. Flight delays, lost luggage, and unexpected hiccups can be stressful, but once you reach your destination and unwind, it all becomes worth it.
